Translation UK is an annual meeting for researchers interested in understanding the mechanisms and control of mRNA translation and its implications for development, disease, agriculture and biotechnology.

Three PhD students together with Senior Lecturers Prachi Stafford and Sue Campbell attended this year’s event which took place at Strathclyde University, Glasgow between 3-5th July.

Doctoral students Rachel Hodgson, Alex Knowles and Filipe Hanson all presented posters on their research:

Alex: Periodontopathogen Porphryomonas gingivalis modulates stress granule formation in oral epithelial cells
