College-based Wellbeing Support

We work closely with academic and support colleagues across our three colleges to align our wellbeing offer with the needs of our students. Each college has a named College Wellbeing Adviser who plays a key role in supporting your wellbeing and overall university experience.

You may see your College Wellbeing Adviser during induction and welcome events, delivering wellbeing support within your college and as part of your course. They work alongside academic and support staff to ensure the wellbeing offer is embedded in your university experience, helping to create a supportive and inclusive environment.

Our College Wellbeing Advisers:

  • Deliver 1:1 Wellbeing Appointments to provide support with Student Wellbeing. You may see one of our College Wellbeing Advisers if you are experiencing anxiety/low mood or need a single focussed support session and some support strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops within colleges and on courses, addressing a range of broad wellbeing topics.
  • Work collaboratively to help enhance your sense of belonging and wellbeing.

Wellbeing Appointments
Our advisers are qualified practitioners who, alongside practitioners from our central Student Wellbeing Service, provide support for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, low mood, and stress. Appointments are 50-minute sessions focused on your goals, helping you to identify strategies and pathways for moving forward.

How to Book
To access 1:1 support with a member of the Student Wellbeing Service Team, complete our registration form. After completing the form, you will receive a link to schedule your appointment with a practitioner from the Student Wellbeing Team.
