Activating your Hallam IT account is the first step in the enrolment process.
You can activate your account as soon as you receive your enrolment invitation email. We will be sending out enrolment invitations by email up to two weeks before your course start date.
You will need:
Your student number
Your username
Both of these are in your enrolment invitation email.
Whilst not required to complete enrolment, to fully set up your IT account and access many other University services, including your University email, we now require the use of Multifactor Authentication (MFA) to help protect your account.
We encourage you to follow the guidance on our MFA web pages as soon as possible to set up the methods you’d like to use.
If you choose not to set these up now, the first time you try to access an MFA protected service, you will be prompted to do so before being able to access that service.
