Food and nutrition student Emma Taylor spent her placement year developing new food products for PepsiCo International.

'I started my role within the global Quaker Oats team to develop a new product in the US, Canada, China and the UK.

'Knowing that I've helped develop the recipe definitely gave me a little squeeze inside – and being offered a job was just the icing on the cake.

'I'll be working as a senior R&D technician in the Quaker Oats team. I can't wait to get started, and I really want to see how far I can get.'
