In addition to the PhD we run a professional doctorate programme leading to the award of Doctorate in Education (EdD). This is a part-time programme recruiting every two years.

As a research student in education, you will have links with Sheffield Institute for Education which produces high-quality research in educational policy and practice, creating positive benefits for children and young people, their teachers and other professionals. Our internationally recognised researchers conduct research for government departments, professional bodies and charities.
