Global partnerships with impact

Sheffield Hallam has experience and expertise working with over 100 partners worldwide. We believe that collaboration across continents can lead to great things — not just for our institutions, but for the wider world. It’s how we solve real-world problems and create lasting change.

Working together, we provide transformational experiences for students and staff — helping them build confidence, expand their horizons, experience new cultures and discover different ways of thinking.

Our existing network and collaborations have led to a strategic partnership with La Trobe University, Australia, as well as study exchange and transnational educational partnerships across the globe.

Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we have twinned with Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD) to offer support to Ukrainian students and academics.

We collaborate with overseas partners to jointly deliver innovative programmes for our students.

Our Sheffield Business School offers a European Business Programme bachelor’s degree in collaboration with IÉSEG School of Management in Paris and IQS School of Management in Barcelona which allows students to learn and live in three different European countries over four years.

We collaborate with partners LUCA School of Arts in Belgium and the University of Aveiro in Portugal to deliver the Response_Able Futures programme. This is a two-year Erasmus Mundus joint master's programme in Design and Healthcare, funded by a grant from European Commision, created to equip graduates to engage across care systems.

Our vision

We will be the world’s leading applied university. As we expand our network of global partners, our priority is to provide transformational experiences for students.

Each one of our partnerships is unique and developed to maximise mutual benefit. We work with like-minded institutions that share our vision and commitment to collaboration.

Work with us

We want to build new partnerships with institutions around the world that share our ambition and values.
