Applied learning

All three years of the course are structured around applied learning. This links your studies to real-world situations.

Throughout the course, you will spend a minimum of 6 hours per week completing work towards the course, including attending study schools, completing assessments, and developing your knowledge, skills, and behaviours.

Build on your previous knowledge and skills, offering structured reflection and evidence gathering related to your development in the workplace.

Work-based projects
These modules let you showcase your learning, explore work-based issues, and demonstrate impact in the workplace.

Entry requirements

Applicants can be existing employees looking to develop their careers, or new applicants to the business. It is suitable for those that are or wish to become professional managers.

Applicants must:

• be over 18
• not be in full-time education
• have the right to abode in the UK
• meet the course entry requirements

GCSE (or equivalent)

Maths and English at level 2 or above (grade 4, or previously C).

If you don't have this yet, we will refer you to our functional skills training partner where you'll need to complete the relevant qualifications during the first year of your apprenticeship.

Additional qualifications

Plus one of the following:

• 104 UCAS points, including at least 64 points from 2 A levels or equivalent.
• One A level or equivalent and relevant work experience.
• In absence of A levels; admission based on judgement of suitable work experience taken by the course leader.
