What is a T Level
T Levels are two-year courses which are equivalent to three A levels. They’re aimed at 16 to 19-year-olds and are designed in collaboration with employers.
T Levels offer students practical learning at a school or college, and on-the-job experience through an industry placement. Typically, you’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and 20% on a 45-day placement.
Like A levels, there are no tuition fees to study a T Level if you start before you are 19.
Why study a T Level
T Levels are a good option for students who want to combine their studies with work experience. Not only will you get the skills and knowledge companies are looking for, but you’ll also get a nationally recognised certificate, plus UCAS points to help you on your way to your degree. In 2022, over 92% of T Level students achieved a ‘Pass’ or above.
