Information for landlords
We have an online database, Sheffield Hallam Studentpad, of registered private sector properties. Agents/Landlords can register on there to advertise accommodation and properties available within Sheffield.
What can I register?
Private sector properties
Houses, flats and apartments available for groups or individuals.
Private halls of residence
We consider properties with over 20 rooms to be a hall of residence. Any hall of residence where we do not allocate 100% of the bed spaces can register.
Resident Landlord
Where the landlord lives at the property e.g. people looking for lodgers.
Registration and Requirements
Register on the Sheffield Hallam Studentpad database and follow the instructions on screen.
The advertisement fee for each type of property registration is included on the registration site. If you wish to advertise a hall of residence, please get in touch with us for a quote.
Payment is made electronically via the Sheffield Hallam University Online Store and a payment link will be provided once your advert(s) have been made live on Studentpad. All adverts are valid for one year from the date they are made live (dependent on property having valid certification).
Only properties that have been inspected by Sheffield City Council via the snug scheme are advertised on the Sheffield Hallam Studentpad website.
Resident landlord properties do not require a snug inspection but do need valid gas and electrical safety certification.
