If you are an undergraduate student and you come to the end of your placement, you will begin your transition to your final year and start your preparations for graduate employment or further study.
You should use the learning from your placement and agreed action points to identify and plan how you are going to make the most of your final year – find out more about applying your learning to final year and beyond.
There are a few important steps you must take and your Course’s Academic Administration team will inform you about these through your student email, so remember to keep checking your account.
Module choice
If you are an Undergraduate student, you will need to choose your modules for your final year in March. Any choices you made previously are only applicable for one year. If you miss module choice, the University will automatically assign your modules and you may be unable to change them.
Enrolment
You will receive an email to your student account with a link to online enrolment for both your placement and final year.
Timetables
Your finalised timetable will be ready after enrolment for your final year has been completed.
Returning date
Undergraduate students will need to attend ‘Returning Student Induction’ in September. Teaching starts the following week, so your placement must be completed by then.
If you are a Postgraduate student, you need to make sure that you complete and submit your dissertation before the deadline provided by your dissertation supervisor. If you have got any queries regarding the deadline or any other questions about your dissertation please contact your dissertation supervisor or course leader.
