Sheffield Hallam is proud of its partnerships with other sporting organisations in Sheffield. The University is involved with some of the best sporting facilities in the country, including:

National Performance Centres
Sheffield Hallam University has been allocated as a National Performance Centre (NPC) for hockey and orienteering. The University has been selected by the National Governing Body of each of these sports to support the delivery of key performance objectives.
NPCs are essential in providing aspiring international athletes with high quality coaching alongside specific strength and conditioning programmes in excellent training facilities. The University also provides support to athletes with physiotherapy, lifestyle and medical support and the development of their academic qualifications.
