Sport Hardship Fund

We offer eligible students support to take part in student sport and physical activity through a Sport Hardship Fund with our Student's Union. The Sport Hardship Fund assists students with the financial costs of taking part in Team Hallam Club Sport or Participation (Social Sport) activity - predominantly supporting with membership and joining costs. The Sport Hallam Fund does not cover financial support for kit, equipment, or travel reimbursement. To apply you will need to complete a short application form. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and will remain confidential. Sport Hallam, Student's Union, and the Sheffield Hallam University Funding Team review the applications and will contact you with the outcome. The Sport Hardship Fund will be available to apply for at the beginning of Semester 1 and Semester 2.

Timeline

• Wednesday 11 September: 9am - application form opens.
• Wednesday 9 October: 12 midday - application form closes.
• From Thursday 17October onwards - outcomes will be communicated to all applicants.
