Behaviour change in older adults playing walking football

Rachel's PhD will explore initiation and maintenance experiences in 55-75 year old adults playing walking football. It will involve using a data-driven survey to investigate initiation and maintenance in this population on a larger scale.

Rachel has been a Research Associate within Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences at SHU, working on projects related to systems change in care homes. She holds a MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology from SHU (2017) and enjoys trail and road running, climbing and playing ukulele on occasion!
