Ashley Bagley
The effect of the curvature of the bend on the sprint start
Ashley is a part-time PhD research student at CSER, having joined Sheffield Hallam in 2017. His particular area of research is investigating the effect of the bend on sprint running.
Ashley graduated from the University of Bedfordshire in 2010 with a second-class upper honours BSc degree in Sport Science. He went on to complete an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science at Sheffield Hallam University, specialising in sports biomechanics.
Prior to joining CSER as a PhD student, Ashley worked as a sport science technician at the University of Portsmouth. Previous experiences also include working with a range of sports, including British Athletics, GB Diving and Stoke City FC.
