An ambitious approach to improve the lives of all children and young people in communities facing some of the most challenging circumstances across England

Small children playing in a nursery setting

The Children's Communities initiative aims to make the life chances of children in the areas where they are situated as good as if they were raised in the most affluent parts of the country.

This evaluation gathers evidence of progress using an innovative systems-based Theory of Change approach, coupled to data dashboards and a strong focus on supporting learning to allow Children's Communities to use high quality evidence to support their development in the longer term.
