Improving access and outcomes for learners from Early Years to Higher Education. Our researchers have particular strengths in Language and Literacy, Mathematics and Science Education, health and wellbeing in educational contexts, and formal and informal learning about gender, sex and sexualities.
We have been working in curriculum research and development for every age range from 5 to 19 and at every scale from single school/setting to national and international projects for over 25 years. Our projects are typically inclusive and collaborative, informing practice and producing materials which are informed by the latest research into education and an understanding of the realities of classroom life.
