Terry has vast experience as a mechanical engineer. He has worked in research and development for over 30 years – including more than 20 years in a university environment.

Ryan is responsible for all aspects of project management for the accelerator programme, from initiating the project through to close down. His background is mainly in financial services – where he supported businesses in the business banking division of a big four bank.

Aseptika, a Cambridge-based healthcare business, have developed a remote monitoring system for patients with non-communicable diseases. The start-up is partnering with an AWRC academic to analyse statistical patient data from a trial of their Active+me REMOTE Cardiac Rehabilitation service at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic when many Cardiac Rehabilitation services were forced to close, design a research protocol, publish a paper and jointly apply for funding for a larger trial with the NIHR

On Tuesday 30th March, the Yorkshire and Humber Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) will host the Health Innovation Exchange. An event focusing on innovation in rehabilitation and its application within the NHS.
