Steven continues his design practice on a freelance basis, whilst teaching as a Senior Lecturer of Interior Design at Sheffield Hallam University on both the BA, and MA Interior Design courses

Since joining the Art and Design Research Centre, I have been a researcher for the User-Centered Healthcare design project, worked full time on the Health Foundation's SHINE design and rehabilitation programme, and now work in Lab4living, and on a Health Foundation funded Frailsafe project.
