Lydia Allen, BA (Honours) Primary Education with QTS
'I love children's energy. They are far more insightful than some people give them credit for and I enjoy getting to know them and listening to what they have to say.'
Alison Kennedy, PGCE Post-16 and Further Education
'Many of my students come to college with a negative view of maths, so when I have a learner say “I really enjoyed this lesson, maths can be fun”, it's just fantastic.'
Demi Cardwell, PGCE Secondary Physical Education
'I wasn’t the most academic student at school but I loved sport. My PE teacher realised this and she used sport and PE as a tool to help me stay on track to gain my GCSEs. She really inspired me.'
Ben Swales, PGCE French and Spanish
'It's a very challenging career, but I’ve loved every minute of it and only wish I’d made the decision earlier.'
