Sheffield Addiction Research Recovery Group (SARRG)
SARRG is a peer-led group which aims to support recovery-focused groups in their efforts to promote their activities.
Our members include people and groups representing differing pathways to recovery, those in recovery, their family members, professionals and academics interested in recovery.
Our long-term vision is that Sheffield becomes known as the recovery capital of the UK, providing a model of advanced recovery research and action for others to follow. We:
- undertake research and action focused on enhancing recovery from addiction
- inform treatment, policy and practice that challenges exclusion, stigma and discrimination
- actively support the recovery community in Sheffield and the surrounding area
- promote events and provide help and expert advice to groups asking for support
