FGM Learning Event: Communities Tackling FGM

Date: Monday 27 March 2017
Time: 08.30 AM to 03.00 PM
Venue: St Mary's Church Conference Centre

Ashiana Sheffield and ROSA UK have collaborated to organise an FGM Learning Event at St Marys Church Conference Centre.

The day will be split into a morning and an afternoon session. In the morning attendants will hear from speakers from a range of organisations who work with those affected by FGM. In the afternoon there will be a choice of two training workshops: Developing Knowledge, Responses and Programmes within Schools and Engaging and Developing Community Champions. Lunch will be provided for those who attend both sessions.

This event is directed towards communities tackling FGM and is open to workers, volunteers and community activists engaging with communities potentially affected by FGM or would like to increase engagement with these communities.
