Public Engagement, Sexual Health and Sexualisation

This project explores issues of public engagement and the dissemination of academic research on sexual health in the context of ‘sexualised’ culture through a series of workshops. The workshops bring together academics working in a range of disciplines with journalists, broadcasters and other specialists in science/information/advice media to discuss practical and productive ways of enabling dissemination and to work on producing two outputs: a report and a media briefing.

The project undertakes six one-day workshops to explore issues of public engagement and the dissemination of academic research on sexual health in the context of ‘sexualised’ culture.
