Case studies illustrating UK box-office performance
The project involves several related articles and two book proposals which share a common concern with the performance of films (both British and American) at the UK box-office, especially between the early 1930s and the 1980s. It includes case studies of booking and attendance patterns at three particular cinemas, including the Gaumont, Sheffield.
