Title: In a Glass House: The early display of computers in the office
The 'Glass House' was the term used to describe the glass walled computer rooms that appeared in the interior spaces of office buildings through the late 1950 to the early 1970s. This heavily visual presentation charts the emergence of the phenomenon and the widespread influence it had, and posits some conclusions as to its impact and legacy.
