Title: Absorbing red photons

A screening of Absorbing red photons, currently a work-in-progress video, that presents an act of submersion at 2,000ft below sea level.
The video follows on from Dreams of Flying (2011) and is the second in a series of three works.  It continues a trajectory in my work that objectifies cultural phenomenon, often modes of transport, as a starting point to discuss current structures and systems.
