Researchers at Sheffield Hallam University are expected to uphold the highest standards of research integrity in all their scholarly communications. This requires communicating honestly, accurately and as openly as possible.
Publication strategies
Research integrity in publishing is best assured through early agreement about collaborators’ roles and responsibilities, having transparent criteria for apportioning authorship, and agreeing an explicit publication strategy with all involved. The University has a guide to developing a personal publication strategy, to help authors maximise academic impact, support career development and aid the production of an optimal portfolio of research outputs for the next REF.
