Doctoral Training Alliance – DTA3/COFUND

Sheffield Hallam University is a partner in the three University Alliance Doctoral Training Alliances (DTA) in Applied Biosciences for Health, Energy and Social Policy.

The Doctoral Training Alliance is the largest nationwide multi-partner initiative of its kind. Run by University Alliance, it builds on the research strengths and industry focus of its members to produce independent, highly employable researchers with knowledge, expertise and skills. DTA3 has extended this programme following a €6.5million award from the European Commission, under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) COFUND Doctoral scheme.

It is expected that the early-stage researchers appointed at Sheffield Hallam will register for a PhD and submit the resulting thesis within the 36-month period of employment. Participants will also be able to attend DTA training events and interact with colleagues across the Doctoral Training Alliances.

We are recruiting researchers in the field(s) of Social Policy and Energy. More information, including the projects available, can be found on the University Alliance website.
