Fees and Funding

Fees, funding, and charges

Daily rates 2024/25

8am-6pm - full day rate of £70 per day.

Fees are payable monthly in advance. Late payment charges will apply for overdue invoices and your child’s place will be forfeited if more than one month of arrears accrues. If you experience any difficulties in meeting the cost of additional services, or monthly fees, please speak to a deputy manager.

Collegiate Nursery - Funded Early Learning (FEL) only contracts

Government funded hours are available during Sheffield school term time for 38 weeks per year.

The expense of providing childcare to parents and children is much higher than the funding we receive from the Government. To maintain our high standard of provision and to provide a wide range of experiences for all our children, we make additional charges for enhanced activities and resources. Further details of charges can be found in our FEL Charges Policy.

Enhanced activities and resources will appear on your invoice as consumables. Examples include snacks, baking ingredients, trips, additional classes e.g. yoga, music, emergency nappies (where parent/carer has failed to supply), sun cream and wipes, higher staff ratio, and special events. This list is not definitive or exhaustive.

Collegiate Nursery Sessions

AGE SESSION TIME
 9 months - 2 years  11 months (from September 2024)  3 hours per day can be accessed between 9am – 12pm (or 1pm - 3pm if afternoon is the only session available)  8am - 6pm
 3 - 4 years  6 hours per day can be accessed between 9am – 3pm as part of the 9am - 4pm session  8am - 6pm

We can only offer a limited number of FEL only contracts, which are offered to students in the first instance until all available places have been taken up. We offer no more than 10% of total available places based on staff to child ratio as FEL only contracts. The actual number of places available will therefore vary according to staffing.

Please note:
  • All sessions are subject to availability, and we may operate a waiting list for some sessions.
  • All sessions are fixed and payable whether your child attends or not.
  • You will need to provide packed lunch, nappies, nappy cream, baby milk, a minimum of two spare outfits (three if potty training) and suitable outdoor clothing for all weathers.
  • Please note that the nursery is a nut-free environment and packed lunches must not contain nuts. Please provide a healthy packed lunch.
  • We will provide snacks, and drinks (milk or water).

Payment

An invoice for the whole term will be sent in advance containing a monthly breakdown. You have two options for payment:

  1. Whole term in advance
  2. Monthly in advance

Any adjustments will be made at the end of term and appear on your next invoice.

We accept payment via all the main Workplace Voucher Schemes and are a registered provider for the Government Tax-free Children's Scheme.

Please refer to our terms and conditions and registration contract for full details.
