The survey is now open to students who started their degree in September. If you started in February / March, you’ll be invited to complete it after Easter.
What is the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)?
It is a UK-wide survey open to postgraduate taught students and made available through Advance HE (Higher Education). It takes the form of an online questionnaire and asks for your honest and considered feedback on your experience as a taught postgraduate student.
When does the survey happen?
The survey takes place every year, between February / March and runs until June.
Why should I complete the survey?
This is an opportunity to tell us what you like about Sheffield Hallam and things you feel could be improved. We use this feedback to improve the experience for taught postgraduate students, so your contribution is extremely valuable.
How to share your experience
You will receive an invitation by email when the survey opens.
If you have lost this email, you can access the survey via the PTES website or via a QR code – please ask your teaching staff for these as they change each year.
Hallam together
In response to your feedback, the University invests in what matters to you and improves the areas you felt could be better. Find out how your voice makes a real difference.
