SECTION 4 MONITORING ENGAGEMENT

14.The measures used to monitor engagement may vary depending on the nature of the course. Your level of attendance and engagement will be monitored and reviewed in several ways at specific points throughout the academic year. This will include:

  • Recording participation in taught, online and face to face sessions.
  • Reviewing engagement with Blackboard.
  • Reviewing attendance data from Study Goal.
  • Monitoring assessment submissions.
  • Reviewing your academic profile after Assessment Boards.
  • Reviewing engagement with mandatory course requirements.
  • Engagement with staff meetings, e.g. Academic Adviser or supervisor.
  • Library usage and Wi-Fi activity in university spaces.
