Full time students with children may be eligible for help with learning costs. The amount you can receive will depend on your household income.

You may be eligible for help with childcare costs if you are a full-time higher education student and have children under 15, or under 17 if the child is registered with special educational needs.

Parental Support
Eligible students attending a full time pre-registration healthcare course will be able to claim a set amount of £2,000 per academic year. This is available to students who have parental responsibility for a child who is either under the age of 15 or under 17 if the child is registered with special educational needs.
