Places of worship
Students are welcome at any of our services and events. Sunday services and/or Young Adult’s group may be good places to start.
The Cathedral has a group for young adults who meet at 5.30-7 pm on the first and third Sundays of the month. On the first Sunday of the month, the group typically plays games and socialises, on the third Sunday, there is normally a Bible study.
There are a number of families who are part of the Cathedral Community and at the 10.30 am Sunday service there are opportunities for children to sing in the Little Lights Choir, and to attend a group specifically for them during the first part of the service before returning for Holy Communion.
Rhythm Time, a free music class for babies to pre-schoolers, happens at the Cathedral on Thursdays in term time. There are sessions at 10 am and 1 pm and sign-up is at the Cathedral on the day.
The Cathedral’s vision is to be a place for all people. We strive to offer a full and affirming welcome to people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
The Cathedral is a place for all people to come and enjoy. The building is open every day offering a peaceful space to think, reflect or work. We host a full schedule of events and activities throughout the year including concerts, exhibitions, flea markets and craft activities. Take a look at the website for the latest details.
