The Global Engagement Directorate leads the University's international business development, notably student recruitment and collaborative partnerships. As well as our main office in Sheffield, the directorate supports our five overseas offices in India, Pakistan, China, Nigeria and Malaysia.

We pride ourselves on recruiting dynamic, forward-thinking staff who are able to adapt quickly to the fast-changing pace of international higher education.

Staff in the UK office work in three distinct teams:

• International Recruitment
• International Marketing
• International Operations

Within those teams, many members of staff have a responsibility for one or two of our target regions. We work closely with the University's four colleges and other directorates to implement the international elements of the University's strategy.

Directorate staff also co-ordinate the Erasmus exchange scheme for students and the University's international scholarship portfolio.
