We provide a range of initiatives to help you carry out your job, improve your personal effectiveness and wellbeing, develop leadership and management skills, and support your career progression.
Induction
Every new starter completes a University induction - this welcomes you to Sheffield Hallam and provides you with the information you need to get started. You’ll then follow a local induction facilitated by your line manager and colleagues to embed you into your new job and team.
Reviews
You can expect regular meetings with your manager to discuss your learning and development. In addition, your annual performance and development review will help identify your career aspirations and structure your individual development plan.
