Revitalising place through interdisciplinary art practice at a time of environmental change

Professor Harriet Tarlo giving a poetry reading. She is standing in front of a white wall, on which are displayed a black and white photo and four stanzas of poetry. She is holding a small concertina book, and looking down at it as she reads.

Harriet Tarlo worked with colleagues at the University of Leeds to create place-based practice research projects in Northeast Lincolnshire to benefit local people, community groups and creative practitioners.

The research also benefited the wider world of environmental, interdisciplinary arts, through fieldwork, exhibitions and an extensive programme of public engagement.
