This executive report presents the summary of the research trip that was conducted in Bhopal, India from 27 – 30 May 2019 to collect gender-based violence narratives from survivors along with those working on the ground to shape future policy and advocate for change. This research was supported by funding from the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), which aims to promote gender equality and human rights and the project lead was Dr Sunita Toor. This report provides a quick overview of the key observations and the subsequent themes that emerged from this research trip. The report is now available to read. (PDF, 4.9MB)
