Your graduation checklist
We can’t wait to celebrate your big day with you. To make sure you have everything in place, follow our eight-step graduation checklist.
3. Order your gown
- Book your gown through Ede & Ravenscroft. They're collected and fitted on the day of your ceremony at Owen Building, City Campus.
- Before booking, make sure you have your height, head and chest measurements ready.
4. Pre-order photos
- To avoid queuing on the day, pre-order your graduation photos through Ede & Ravenscroft.
- There’s no deadline to order photos and you can buy them on the day if you prefer.
5. Order your film and free clip
- Don't forget to order your graduation film, capturing your whole ceremony.
- You can also register for a free ceremony clip, showing your big moment on stage.
6. Plan your travel, celebrations and accommodation
- If you don’t already know, find out when your ceremony starts.
- To collect your gown and have your photos taken, arrive at Owen Building, City Campus two hours before your ceremony starts.
- Your graduation will take place at Ponds Forge, a 10 to 15 minute walk from Owen Building. Graduation Hall doors open 30 minutes before your ceremony starts.
- Planning a post-ceremony celebration? Check out the city centre restaurants offering special graduation deals.
- If you want to book accommodation in Sheffield, we advise you wait until your ticket allocation is confirmed or book a flexible rate. We offer special hotel rates for all our visitors. Please note these rates are subject to change.
