Your graduation day takes place over two fantastic venues in Sheffield city centre – Owen Building for gown fitting and photography, and Ponds Forge for your ceremony. Allow 10 to 15 minutes to get from one to the other.

The venues

Travel, parking and accommodation

• It’s important you arrive in good time for your ceremony. Plan your travel to Sheffield city centre by train, plane, coach, car or our local Supertram.
• Make sure you know where to park. We have plenty of discounted car parks available. Ponds Forge has discounted parking in Q Park at Castlegate. 
• You'll need to validate your discounted parking at the Graduation information desk in the Ponds Forge foyer.
• Please check closer to the day of your ceremony as discounts are subject to change.
• Blue badge parking is available on a first come first served basis at the main entrance to City Campus, on nearby roads, and in the car park at Ponds Forge. See the Ponds Forge venue page for information on how to access the car park and register your blue badge.
• Want to stay over in Sheffield? We offer special hotel rates for all our visitors.

Accessibility

• If you need accessibility support, Sheffield BID’s Mobile Sheffield scheme provides pavement mobility scooters, manual wheelchairs and tri walkers for use in Sheffield city centre.
• Whatever your age or walking ability, they have products to help you  access the city. Equipment can be hired by anyone who needs it, no blue badge is required.
