Snow forecast during Graduation Week

Snow is forecast this week. All graduation ceremonies will go ahead as planned, unless we email you to confirm that your ceremony has been cancelled.

What to do if you’re unable to attend your graduation ceremony

If you’re unable to attend your graduation ceremony due to bad weather, please email us:

  • Email us at graduation@shu.ac.uk
  • Use the subject header ‘Snow’
  • Please include your full name and student number

Please don’t worry. We’ll contact you in the next few weeks with options to graduate in the future.

Online and telephone bookings are closed 

We are unable to take further bookings, online or over the phone.

A small number of tickets, for some ceremonies, may be available on the day. Please see below for details. 

If you are a graduate and have not booked your ticket, please ring the graduation office on 0114 225 5353.

Ticket allocations

If you have bought graduation tickets, we are now allocating seats. You will receive an email when you’re able to log in and download your tickets.

Additional tickets may be available on the day

A small number of tickets, for some ceremonies, may be available on the day. 

Please go to the information desk at Ponds Forge 1.5 hours before the start of the ceremony to buy tickets. We cannot guarantee availability. 

It’s worth noting the ceremonies below which are sold out. No tickets will be available on the day.
