A project for Female, Postgraduate students from India

Participate in this project exploring how living away from home and exposure to UK culture affects the sense of identity, belonging and self-worth of female postgraduate students from India.

It's a fantastic opportunity to:

• develop reflective practice
• gain better awareness of self
• learn how you have grown in the bi-cultural context
• complete two steps in the Global Citizenship Portfolio

You will be contributing to an exploratory study, being undertaken as a part of a Master’s dissertation project, that aims to support a better understanding of the personal acculturation journey of women from India studying for higher degrees the UK.

Participants will be required to engage with three semi-structured interviews through the academic year (Nov, Feb and May) and submit a short reflective journal entry after each interview.
