£2,000 Alumni Discount
If you’ve completed a full-time degree, PGCE or PhD at Sheffield Hallam or one of our partner institutes in the 2023–24 or 2024-25 academic years, you may be eligible for a £2,000 discount on postgraduate study.

£1,000 Postgraduate Taught Scholarship
If your course isn't eligible for the above offer or you completed your course before 2023, you may be eligible for a £1,000 alumni scholarship. Students who completed Study Abroad at the University and exchange students may also be eligible.
If you plan to study part-time, the £1,000 Postgraduate Taught Scholarship will be applied at £500 per year for the first two years only. There are no scholarships from year three onwards.
If you’re studying a part-time, one-year course, you will receive a £500 scholarship. If you complete your masters degree in stages (i.e. PgCert, PgDip, Masters) then you will only be eligible for £1,000.
10% Online Masters Scholarship
A 10% discount on all our online masters courses is now on offer to all those who graduated with a full degree from Sheffield Hallam.

10% Postgraduate Research Scholarship
A 10% discount on postgraduate research courses is available if you have graduated with a full degree from Sheffield Hallam.
You will not be eligible if you are enrolled on a regulated postgraduate course like PGCE programmes, Department of Health funded courses, or Masters in Architecture – or if you are enrolled for only one module of a postgraduate course.
How to apply
Your alumni scholarships will be applied automatically if you meet the eligibility criteria, even if you’ve already applied for or accepted an offer.
You can only receive one scholarship or discount, with the highest value award being applied.
