Export

We have now completed the structure for our project or essay, added research and ideas, and created a time plan. The next step is to export our mind map into a Word Document so we can start writing our assignment.


Press the File button on the top left of your screen. Then choose Export from the list.

Now select Microsoft Word and Custom Word Export.

Now choose the export template that you want to use – if you want to include a bibliography then APA Style is recommended.

You can choose what is included in your export by selecting the General tab.

When you are happy with your export options press the Export button.


Now choose a location to save the exported file to and press Open the Document – Word will now open up and display your mind map as an editable document.
