We have now completed the structure for our project or essay, added research and ideas, and created a time plan. The next step is to export our mind map into a Word Document so we can start writing our assignment.

Press the File button at the top left of your screen. Then choose Export to from the list, then Microsoft Word.

The window shown below will now open.  It will default to the Templates tab.  From here, select the format you wish to use.

You can then choose what is included in your export by selecting the Options tab. 

When you are happy with your export options press the Export button.

Now choose a filename and location to save the exported file to, and press Save.  You will be given the option to open the file if you wish to view it straight away.
