Sync your collections

Syncing your collection with your Microsoft account.

If you add your Microsoft account to Microsoft Edge, your collections will be automatically synced to the cloud.

You’ll also be able to view your collections on other devices where you use Edge (and have logged in with your Microsoft account).

To log in to your Microsoft account, click on the silhouette icon in the top-right-hand corner of Microsoft Edge.

Click 'Sign in to sync data' and enter your details.

If you have a personal Microsoft account, or want to create a new account, select 'Microsoft account' and 'continue'.

If you want to use your Sheffield Hallam Microsoft account, select Work or school account, enter your username in the format username@hallam.shu.ac.uk, and select 'continue'.

In this case, ‘username’ is the user name to you use to log in to Sheffield Hallam computers and websites.

If you choose this option you’ll be taken to the standard SHU login page and can use your SHU username and password to log in.

You will now be logged in, and your Collections will be synced.

Viewing your collections on other devices

To view and add to your collections on a mobile device, download the mobile app.

If you are an iPhone or iPad user download Edge on the App Store. If you are an Android user, download Edge on the Play Store.

Edge is also available if you use an Apple Mac computer. You can download it from the Edge browser download page.
