Key Themes
On this course you’ll study the changing nature of the international business environment and how this impacts business processes, transactions and leadership. You’ll also focus on financial aspects such as markets, risk and the sources of finance.
This coverage of two discipline areas will give you a broad focus for the sectors and roles in which you may later work. We’ll prepare you for the diversity and complexity which accompany a globally integrated and internationally focused business environment.
On somel key modules, you’ll have opportunities to tailor your learning experience, including the flexibility to choose assessment tasks that align with your preferences and goals.

We’ll support your transition into level 6 study with guidance on how to present information, how to critically evaluate issues and how to work within teams. We also offer study skills support for international students.

Entry requirements
All students
Normally 120 credits at Level 4 and 120 credits at Level 5 (i.e. a total of 240 credits) from any business, international business or other relevant qualifications. Students will have normally studied a qualification with relevant content at Level 4 and Level 5. Students whose first language is not English will need to demonstrate the entry requirements of the course to which they apply as well as meet the English competence requirements of an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the four skills); or equivalent.

Home students
Our tuition fees for UK students starting full-time undergraduate study in 2025/26 are regulated by the UK government and are yet to be confirmed. For an indication, our tuition fee for UK students starting full-time undergraduate study in 2024/25 is £9,250 per year.
If you are studying an undergraduate course, postgraduate pre-registration course or postgraduate research course over more than one academic year then your tuition fees may increase in subsequent years in line with Government regulations or UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) published fees. International students
