Not applied through UCAS
If you haven't already applied, you can find a university place at Sheffield Hallam by using the clearing process. Here’s what you need for clearing and how it works in three simple steps.
Step 1: Call us up
First, call us on 0330 024 6390. When you call up you’ll need a full list of your results, including your GCSE grades. Be prepared to talk about why you want to study the course and why you're passionate about the subject.
For some courses (e.g. health profession courses and teacher education), you will be required to have an interview before a decision is made.
If we make you an offer, we’ll email you the details, so make sure you use an email address you can check regularly.
Step 2: Fill in some forms
We’ll send you an application form and a questionnaire about your fee status, which you will need to fill in and email back to us.
You’ll also need to send us evidence of your qualifications.
Step 3: Accept your offer
Once we receive your completed forms and evidence of your qualifications, we’ll set you up with a UCAS record and confirm you have a place on UCAS.
UCAS will notify you once this is complete, and then you can access the UCAS Hub to view your offer.
