This scoping study on worklessness and employability among 19-24 year olds was commissioned to help inform the BIG Lottery Fund of potential areas of intervention in helping to alleviate youth worklessness and its consequences. The research was commissioned in March 2012 and involved two key research tasks: a literature review of existing evidence; and interviews with key stakeholders engaged in addressing youth unemployment in the public and voluntary and community sectors (VCS).
