Nature Recovery Farming: Supporting the Transition

Project Director: Anna Hawkins
Project Duration: 2024-2026

We are working with farmers and other land managers in South Yorkshire and the Peak District to understand their experiences of accessing funding for land management that supports nature’s recovery. This project will explore existing funding, policy and consultation documents to produce a state of the art report, and then work with local stakeholders to co-produce a set of policy recommendations and identify further research problems that need to be addressed to improve uptake and impact of existing and future funding streams.

The project team also Dr Joe Glentworth, Dr Catherine Hammond, Dr Ellen Bennett (Sheffield Hallam University) and Ms Emma Cary (University of Aberdeen).
