CRESR is developing an evidence base to support the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) in their work to develop an inclusion plan. We will provide data analysis of social and economic inclusion challenges in South Yorkshire and, drawing on new thinking around alternative economic development, make recommendations for how SYMCA might embed inclusion objectives and activities in their strategies.

The project team also includes Joe McMullan (Sheffield Hallam University).
