Project Director: Professor Aimee Ambrose
Project Manager: Dr Beth Speake
Project Duration: 2022-2023
A group of energy poverty academics across the Universities of: Sheffield Hallam, Leeds, Liverpool John Moores and Sussex have joined forces to set up a new project called Fuel Poverty Evidence. The aim is to increase the reach of evidence on fuel poverty, to ensure it is heard by and informs policy making and that it enters the wider public conversation and consciousness. We will produce an expert directory hosted by the Fuel Poverty Research Network, enabling anyone needing to access expertise on fuel and energy poverty to find the right people. We will also generate press releases, policy briefings and engage with the media in response to energy and social policy developments and related fiscal events, ensuring that the implications of policy change for energy poor households are always kept in mind.
